After years of research, interviews, writing, editing, and more than a few unexpected detours, Small Town Rage: Fighting Back in the Deep South is finally being released. I would be honored if you would join us for the book launch and reunion celebration.
This book tells the story of ACT UP Shreveport and the remarkable people who challenged silence, stigma, and indifference during the darkest years of the AIDS epidemic. Whether it is your place in that story or in my life it is one of the reasons this book exists.
